Overview:
Coda is a task and collaboration platform designed to help teams manage projects, track work, and stay aligned across sprints. The goal was to create a clean, modern workspace with multiple views—table, Kanban, and timeline—to support different working styles.
My Role
UI/UX Design, Product Design
Goal
Design a structured task management system where teams can easily organize tasks, assign owners, track progress, and move work through different workflow stages without confusion.
Approach
Left-side project hierarchy for fast switching across workspaces
Three task views (Table, Kanban, Timeline) to support different planning habits
Simplified card layout with clear tags, priority levels, and progress indicators
Contextual task panel for descriptions, subtasks, comments, and activity
Profile pages with personal + professional details and recent activity
Clean dark-mode design for long working sessions and visual focus
Key Features
Table View: Structured rows for fast scanning of tasks, assignees, priority, and progress
Kanban View: Drag-and-drop workflow for To-Do, In-Progress, and Done
Timeline View: Weekly planner showing capacity and deadlines visually
Task Drawer: Detailed view with description, subtasks, tags, comments, and activity logs
Integrations: ClickUp, Asana, Jira, Slack, Github — shown as toggles for workspace setup
Profile Page: User details, past activity, and role information displayed in a calm, organized layout
Outcome
The final design provides a polished, scalable workspace where teams can run sprints, manage tasks, and collaborate with clarity.
It supports:
Fast project switching
Multiple ways to visualize work
Deep task context without losing navigation
Seamless team collaboration
A clean system that stays organized even with large task volumes
This project reflects my ability to design end-to-end product workflows, task systems, complex tables, and multi-view dashboards—in a way that stays modern, minimal, and intuitive.
